LT Colonel Bukar Suka Dimka played a major role in the assassination of the then Military Head of State, General Murtala Ramat Mohammed on February 13th 1976.

Dimka also participated in the counter coup of 1966 which toppled the government of General Ironsi.

He was executed on 15th of May 1976 at the Kirikiri Maximum Security Prison in Lagos.
